Stuart Eizenstat is an American diplomat and attorney, most famously known as Former United States Ambassador to the European Union and Former United States Deputy Secretary of the Treasury. Eizenstat will draw on his unique, firsthand experience working in three presidential administrations to discusss his book President Carter: The White House Years.
Douglas Brinkley, CNN Presidential Historian and Katherine Tsanoff Brown Professor in Humanities at Rice University, will join Eizenstat for an insightful discussion on Eizenstat’s book, which Brinkley calls an “epic biography,” focusing on the Middle East peace process.
