Lyon Cohen Symposium
LYON COHEN MERIT SCHOLARSHIP
The Fund has created the Lyon Cohen Scholarship, a $5000 annual scholarship available to any Congregation Beth Israel member or family member who will be a college or a graduate student at any college or university in the next year. The Scholarship is presented to that applicant who best exemplifies Lyon Cohen’s optimism, devotion to Judaism, and ethical grounding.
In further tribute to Lyon, the Fund supports The Lyon Cohen Symposium, which was successfully launched in 2015, and which has grown each year. The Symposium and the community response reflect Lyon’s impeccable ethics and his Judaic values. The next Lyon Cohen Symposium will focus on the Ethics of AI and will take place on April 18, 2024.
